Coaching
Junior football coaching in Perth
Coaching for juniors runs in a few shapes: weekly sessions at a club, a development programme, or one to one work with a coach. This page explains the difference and lists the coaching programmes Perth clubs and coaches have published through Pitchside.

Club training is part of a season: the squad trains together through the week. A development programme usually runs in blocks, and a coach works on specific skills with a group. One to one sessions suit a player who wants more touches on a particular part of their game.
What to check before you book
Ask how the sessions are grouped, how many players are in a group, and what the coach is working towards.
- Which age groups, and how players are split within them
- How long each session runs, and how many sessions are in the block
- What the player should bring
- What happens in bad weather, and how a cancelled session is handled
- Who runs the session, and how to raise a question with them
For coaches and programme organisers
If you run coaching sessions and want to spend less of the evening chasing replies, the Pitchside WhatsApp bot sends the session to families, collects the yes or no, and keeps the attendance list. It runs on its own, so a Pitchside listing is helpful but never required.
